AN EVENING ADVENTURE WITH CLARE BOWDITCH

UPCOMING EVENTS 2024

For the first time in a very long time, ARIA Award-winning music-maker Clare Bowditch is pulling out her guitar case and hitting the road. Intimate and mostly solo with the occasional special guest, expect an entertaining and delightful night of brand new songs and reflections on what it means to be here and still kicking on in the year 2024. And as per usual, you’re all invited to sing along (if you feel like it! No Pressure*) and join Clare's 'Pop Up Choir"

*To do so, just buy your tickets, email a photo of them to storybakerpresents@storybaker.com with the title "CHOIR", and Clare will email you some optional parts to learn in the week before the performance. Then, just show up at on the night and wait for the magic to happen..

SING-SONG SHOWTIME is an uplifting one-day master-class in singing, performance, and courage, with ARIA Award Winning musician Clare Bowditch.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

In the morning, Clare plies you with tea and oranges and cake and teaches you everything she knows about singing, performing, and the cultivation of internal courage.

In the afternoon, you and Clare and your new choir get dressed up and put on a live show in front of an audience of your most supportive friends and family (their entry is included as part of your ticket).

YOUR TICKET INCLUDES:

  • A unique, uplifting, one day musical adventure with Clare Bowditch and friends, in the leafy surrounds of Fitzroy North.
  • Masterclasses in cultivating creative courage, 'intuitive singing*', the art of performance, including frameworks and exercises you can carry back home with you and apply in your everyday life.
  • The excellent company of kindred spirits.
  •  Delicious food: morning tea, lunch, tea-coffee, snacks as needed.
  • Your chance to perform live with CB and your new make-shift choir that very afternoon. (But how? Come and find out for yourself! Works every time!)
  • Two free tickets to the late afternoon performance of our show to give your friends and/or family.
  • The tickets are all-inclusive and are $290 (full price), or $238 (concession).

For those in need of financial assistance, please shoot an email to asha@storybaker.com with your details before Monday 30 September (as we always have a number of community tickets set aside for just such an occasion!)

We look forward to sing-songing with you!

**'Intuitive singing' is just a term Clare uses simply to describe the kind of singing she teaches: relaxed, natural, low-pressure, enjoyable.
